The Free Culture Research Conference (Oct 8-9, 2010) presents a unique opportunity for scholars whose work contributes to the promotion, study or criticism of a Free Culture, to engage with a multidisciplinary group of academic peers and practitioners, identify the most important research opportunities and challenges, and attempt to chart the future of Free Culture.

Papers from the FKI as well as from the FTA have been accepted. FKI will talk about the Knowledge Society from a freedom centered perspective. With our partners in the FTA, we will give a presentation on Free Technology Academy: Towards sustainable production of free educational materials.
